Broken Social Scene’s JASON COLLET releases his new album RECKON with bonus ‘best of’ collection, ESSENTIAL CUTS

If you've loved Canadian music for the last twenty years of your life, you've probably heard him sing to you, either keeping the Broken Social Scene in line with nothing more than a stomping foot and an acoustic guitar. Jason Collett is back with a politically charged body of work along with the ultimate collection of songs from his illustrious career as a music force. His signature lush melodies depict the social turmoil of today’s world woes but are equally as uplifting and beautiful as they are informative.

The first single – and Australian exclusive – is entitled ‘You’re Not The One And Only Lonely One’. It is a pulsating, pounding track that sees Collett embrace more of a rock signature whilst holding onto his poignant lyrics of love and loss. Politically charged as always, Collett is a force to be reckoned with here, in a melodically menacing way.

Collett’s new album ‘Reckon’ is released in September and comes with a specially selected collection of the best songs from across Collett’s illustrious career. ‘Reckon’ definitely is a must have for all folk/pop fans.

The new album ‘Reckon’ plus bonus album ‘Essential Cuts’ is out September 21
