ONE TO WATCH! CAITLYN SHADBOLT TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM ‘SONGS ON MY SLEEVE’ OUT MAY 26th
As Sydney blues-rockers The Snowdroppers begin their National ‘Business’ Album Tour today, comes news that due to popular demand a second Sydney album launch show has been added on Thursday September 24 at GoodGod Small Club, after the Rolling Stone Live Lodge show in Sydney on Friday September 25 sold out!
In addition, the capacity at the Adelaide show on Thursday October 1 at Ed Castle has been increased so tickets are still available, and The ‘Droppers have just been announced as the headline act for the Port Macquarie Beer & Cider Festival on Saturday September 26.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now, with only a small number of tickets still left for the Melbourne show at the Northcote Social Club onSaturday September 19.
The ‘Droppers National ‘Business’ Album Tour follows the release of their third album ‘Business’ last Friday. The reviews are overwhelmingly glowing about the band’s unorthodox interpretation of rock n' roll across the album’s 12 tracks of unpredictable fusion. Here’s a taste of what’s been said so far:
“…a triumphant collision of potent song writing and discordant raw power.” Tone Deaf
"This record is full of the upbeat fun you'd expect from them."The Music
Second single ‘Devil Child’, a glorious slice of fuzzy upbeat grooves, mixed with an overwhelming sense of lyrical paranoia,is at media now.
JoiningThe ‘Droppers on the road are the recently announced support acts - Sydney garage-rockers Food Court will be joined by an array of the country’s best up-and-coming acts including PJ Michael, Ivy, The Hi-Boys, Cosmo Thundercat, Ray Finkle and more.
On mandolin, ukulele, accordion and guitar, the Exes are a powerhouse of charm and songwriting prowess. Fair warning: this foursome is the most badass female folk band around.
Lee Kernaghan releases a very special 25th Anniversary album.
