ABC Music Country/Rock band, The Wolfe Brothers new album “It’s On” has debuted at #18 on the ARIA main stream Chart and # 2 on the ARIA Country Chart. Not bad for the boys from Tasmania!
Hailing from Hobart, the band, comprising of brothers Nick and Tom Wolfe and their childhood friends, Casey Kostiuk and Brodie Rainbird, burst into national spotlight after they appeared on Channel Seven’s mega series Australia’s Got Talent. It was the Australian public who adopted the band and voted The Wolfe Brothers into 2nd place in the Grand Final. Their powerful live show and consistent touring schedule has also gained the band a fiercely loyal following around Tasmania.
The Wolfe Brothers spent last week at the Tamworth Country Music Festival where they performed at "Country Relief,” a benefit concert for the Red Cross Bush Fire 2013 appeal. The Wolfe Brothers were joined by on stage by two of country music's biggest stars, Lee Kernaghan and Troy Cassar-Daley. Troy performed the Stevie Ray Vaughn classic ‘Pride and Joy’ with the boys in what was one of the musical highlights of the festival.
The Wolfe Brothers head back home this week and will be performing at Heart FM's ‘Thank You Concert’ for the fire fighters and volunteers of the Tasmanian bush fires. The concert will take place this Sunday February 3rd at the Hobart City Hall. The boys will then head out around Australia as special guests on Lee Kernaghan's Beautiful Noise National Tour 2013.
